We are Bieslook karavaan

Bieslook Karavaan was founded in 2015 and plays danceable and moving music from around the world with a surprising ensemble of musicians from the Netherlands, Turkey, and Switzerland. Amsterdam is our home base, and we can often be found at parties, festivals, and venues throughout the Netherlands and beyond.

Bieslook Karavaan plays a broad and diverse repertoire of world music, including Balkan, Klezmer, Gypsy Jazz, Argentinian tangos, Brazilian choros, and more. We are available as a full band but can also provide performances in smaller formations.

Living room concerts

Small-scale and intimate: we love playing in living rooms and beautiful authentic locations. Unplugged!

Weddings

A special day calls for special music. Unplugged during the ceremony or amplified during drinks or the party for a swinging atmosphere!

From MadNes to Loison, from De Ceuvel to De Pit, we know how to enchant audiences at festival stages!
